Bound in brown pebbled leather with gilt titles and gilt embossed seals of New York City, all edge gilting, printed on heavy coated paper. Chips to the leather, splitting at the joints, rear inner hinge split and separating, rear cover loose, moisture residue affecting the rear hinge and last 16 sheets (street maps), leaving one to two inches of the map stuck to its facing page at the bind. Some tearing/chipping to some edges, light sweating to a few preliminaries but most pages unaffected and clean. Still a solid working volume with most pages very good. …
