There is mark (remainder?) on the outside edge of the text.

Published by Michael Atkin at the Bracken Press, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in 1977, this is copy number 24 of an edition of 75 of this beautifully produced fine press book, a large folio format bound in wooden boards covered with marbled handmade paper, made at the B…racken Press, with leather spine, and four leather closure ties, internally illustrated with 18 plates etched on copper using hard ground and aquatint methods, the eighteen etchings are printed on 10 loose leaves in portfolio, each of the leaves is initialled and numbered by the artist, with the title page being fully signed, with a loosely inserted broadsheet containing full details of the publication which has some creasing, some browning to the points where the leather ties are fitted into the boards, light rubbing to spine ends, internally opening leaf has some foxing and browning (pictured) else contents in nice condition, a good example of this beautifully produced limited edition fine press book, with fine etchings, book is a large heavy elephant folio size, overseas shipping costs with be higher than the basic standard quote, please enquire for the rates to your country. A few light marks and a little light rubbing to the 1875 edition, hinges have been reinforced. Dust wrapper for the 1978 edition is a little sunned to the spine, with a few light handling marks, and a price sticker to the front fly leaf. Dust wrapper to the 1986 edition is smart, with a price sticker to the front fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. 1857 and 1875 editions are generally bright with scattered spots, whereas the 1978 and 1986 editions are bright and clean. Repair to the contents leaf, and pages 1, 5, and 21 of the 1857 hand-coloured issue. Chemise and slipcase are both in a fine condition. Very Good Indeed. Charles H.
