Started ivory poaching in German & British East Africa, the authorities could never catch him so they appointed him Assistant Game Warden in 1907. Scouted for "Teddy" Rooseveldt's safari in 1909. Formed Ross' Scouts in '14 and fought in German East Africa.

How do we transform our fears into joy? How can we be human in a significant way, connecting with others, even as we learn to belong in a space of adversity.
