Among the national conservative leaders who participated with Phillips in the two-hour long, Monday evening seminars were Paul Weyrich, Chairman of Coalitions for America; John Lofton, syndicated columnist; Richard Viguerie, publisher of the Conservative Digest; Morton Blackwell, Special Assistant to President Ronald Reagan; and Brig. General Albion Knight (USA-Ret.), Director of the National Security Task Force of The Conservative Caucus. More than 60 students participated regularly in the discussions, which brought to Harvard Ôa New Right perspectiveÕ on significant national issues. Seminar discussions focused on: Ôarms control as a threat to peace,Õ Ôthe media attack on the Religious Right,Õ Ôthe pro-family movement,Õ and New Right political strategy.
