An appendix lists the prints and their details. "This book represents the serigraphs which were printed and published from 1991 to 2000. Silk screen printing as I use it becomes an art medium in itself as important and original and different as oil painting. I do not try to copy an oil painting, but rather I create a new work of art using the silk screen process"?quoting Earle on the dust jacket. Earle designed the Academy Award-winning short animated film Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Book. His work on the backgrounds of Sleeping Beauty gave that film its mythic, timeless look, a style that carried through to many of his screenprints. 10-1/2 by 13 inches. 360 pages.
