FASEB is now recognized as the policy voice of biological and biomedical researchers. The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology represents 17 biomedical research societies with a combined member- ship of near 56,000 individual scientists and scholars, making it one of the largest life science organizations in the United States. This report presents recommendations for the FY 2000 federal budget.
