Aem. 7ins x 4.75ins, marbled endpapers, 756pp. Nb title page says " with a map". As is usual, no map is present. In my experience volumes with the map present are very rarely found until the 3rd edition of 1874 and thereafter. Previous owners name and address to first blank page after the front free endpaper. Hinges re-inforced. Some foxing. Rubbed to the edges of the spine. Word "White's" on the spine hard to read. Good copy of a book that is over 175 years old., 1874
