Currently, there are two diagnostic methods that can be used for primary screening of cervical cancer: Pap cytology and HPV DNA test. However, the comparative effectiveness of this diagnostic tests indicate that HPV test is more effective than Pap cytology which is used as a first-line diagnostic method in cervical cancer prevention programs in many countries. Cytology testing and HPV testing differ significantly on the level of accuracy and sensitivity. Evidence studies indicate that HPV test exhibits high sensitivity and accuracy compared to Pap test. In a publicly-financed healthcare system such as the US, Canadian and EU, HPV testing has been proven to be more cost-effective than Pap test. A sample size of 200 respondents was taken into account and it varied from workers, students and faculty members. We used random sampling to gather data from our respondents. We developed a questionnaire based on 38 questions. After the development of the questionnaire we randomly asked people to fill up the questionnaire upon their consent. The data collected was checked and edited for clarity, legibility, relevance and adequacy. For this purpose, SPSS 21 was used to analyze data in the form of Frequencies, Percentage and Graphs. With the help of our findings it was concluded that there is high association of fear of crime victimization and psychological well-being. The interpretative, micro-political turn in conflict studies further contributed to understand conflicts such as the intractable conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). This essay aims to illustrate the contributions and shortcomings of the respective debates, with regard to the intractability and low intensity of contemporary civil conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa. The case of the DRC will be used as exemplary case, whereas I start by laying out the framework of the conflict and briefly address the challenges of understanding conflict. I continue by elaborating on the greed vs. grievance debate, further focus on group inequalities and contrast it to the debate of identity and conflict. Subsequently, I will use this as a bridge to outline the beneficial value of the state-building debate, while taking into account the embeddedness into the international system.
