Holmström högaktningsfullt från författaren". Hans Olof Holmström (1784-1855) var biskop i Strängnäs 1839-1852 och ärkesbiskop från 1852. Stockholm, tryckt hos L. J. Hjerta, 1847. 8:o. 56 s. Detta första häfte av "Hvarjehanda" innehåller första tryckningen av Buddes översättning av Ruts bok efter en handskrift i Kungl. biblioteket, "Ruths bok, öfversatt 1484, af broder Jöns Buddhe i Nådendal" (s. 3-6) med Fryxells anmärkningar på s.17-46 och ordlista på s. 47-56. Jöns Budde var birgittinermunk i Nådendals kloster mellan 1462 och 1491 och en flitig översättare. Svenska fornskriftssällskapet ägnade Budde en bok 2011, "Bilden av Budde. Studier kring en svensk språkpionjär". Olof Fryxell (1806-1900) var präst och poet, och bror till Anders Fryxell. Hans tidskrift Hvarjehanda utkom med endast två häften.…
