This small hard cover book (5 ¾ x 8 ¼ inches, 105 pages) was published by the Idlewild Press of Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York dated 1939 and presumably the First Edition. The book is bound in sky blue boards with silver gilt titles on cover and spine and protected by a printed paper dust jacket. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket, however, has taken the brunt of the wear and is a bit battered with a slit up the spine and a good deal of edge wear top & bottom. The hard covers reflect that protection and are in very good condition, clean and bright as are the silver gilt titles. There is some slight mottling to the blue color of the spine, but it is hardly noticeable. Inside the book is clean and bright and the pages are free of toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…

From a numbered and signed edition of only 35. Letterpress, illustrated with seven colour photographic transfers from images by the author. In red cloth over boards, gilt-stamped; English mould made Somerset book paperstock with endpapers of zerkall nideggen sand. There is a light water stain to the boards, not very noticeable, otherwise the red boards are clean and tidy. Crinkling to the front and rear paste-down, with a little staining to the front paste-down. Would appear to have been stored in a damp environment. Text block is in excellent, clean condition. This book was designed, printed and bound during Fraser's apprenticeship at Yolla Bolly Press in Covelo, California. Fraser was one of the curators at Victoria State Library in Australia. 40 pp. 270 by 155 mm (10¾ by 6 inches).…
