Ajouter au panierSigned, limited edition. I'LL NAIL YOUR PET'S HEAD TO A COFFEE TABLE You can hear Harlan Ellison's voice yelling angrily inside his stories. Forever fuming from his schoolyard mistreatment for being Jewish, Ellison made a name for himself as a difficult writer, getting fired from Disney for proclaiming his desire to create a pornographic film of Mickey and Minnie Mouse on his first day. Reviewers labeled him as a sci-fi writer, which he responded with, "Call me a science fiction writer. I'll come to your house and I'll nail your pet's head to a coffee table. I'll hit you so hard your ancestors will die," labeling himself as simply a fiction writer. Ellison published prolifically over his lifetime, best known for works like "A Boy and His Dog" and "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream," which both appear in this collection, as well as pieces published throughout his career. This edition limited to 1226 copies of which this #998 and is signed in gold ink on limitations page. Short crease to upper front jacket flap, spine lightly sunned, else fine in fine dust jacket in fine slipcase, in mylar cover. Hardcover, in dust jacket, in publisher's slipcase. Signed.…
