A set of contemporary dictionaries and reference works; being reprints of the obituaries which appeared in the The Times, from the years 1951 through to 1975. An impressive source for students and researchers on the lives of national leaders, artists, men of letters, musicians, actors, industrialists, architects, explorers, sportsmen, philosophers, and men and women who were, in their own ways, familiar characters. Including an index to all the obituaries and tributes. Each volume features its original unclipped dustwrapper. Complete in three volumes containing four thousand entries. In original cloth bindings with original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart. Very light rubbing to the extremities. Dustwrappers are all sound, although with some marks and fading. Internally, each volume is firmly bound, bright and clean throughout. Near Fine. None (illustrateur). book.…
