It has been tested through internships by apprentices for foreign trade. Through the valid evaluation of the competences gained during an internship it is possible to acknowledge and recognise them as completed parts of the respective vocational programme. In 2009, Ireland had the highest birth rate in Europe, with almost 24 per cent of births attributed to the 'new Irish'. By 2013, 17 per cent of the nation was foreign-born. Ireland has always been a culturally diverse space and has produced a series of high-profile mixed-race stars, including Phil Lynott, Ruth Negga and Simon Zebo, among others. Through an analysis of screen visualizations of the black Irish, this study uncovers forgotten histories, challenges the perceived homogeneity of the nation, evaluates integration, and considers the future of the new Ireland. It makes a creative and significant theoretical contribution to scholarly work on the relationship between representation and identity in Irish cinema. Cette matrice de compétences segme…nte, sur la base des processus de travail du ledit secteur, les différentes domaines de compétences et à l'intérieur de celles-ci, les degrés de développement des compétences. Cette matrice de compétences peut être utilisée afin de décrire des profils de compétence d'une personne, d'une entreprise (p.ex. pour décrire le profil exigé lors d'un recrutement) ou encore afin de décrire le programme d'une formation professionnelle. Le fonctionnement de la matrice a été éprouvé par des apprentis du secteur 'commerce international' ayant effectué des stages à l'étranger. Les apprentis ont élaboré une Portfolio. Les résultats ont été contrôlés par des instruments d'évaluation ('assessment'), qui ont été partiellement développés sur la base de la matrice. Grâce à une vérification valide des compétences acquises lors des stages à l'étranger, il est dès lors possible de plus ancrer ces stages dans la formation professionnelle. La matrice de compétences de TRIFT convient bien aux instruments du processus ECVET. Examining five central figures and concepts - identity, memory, home, place and space, and literature - across a range of novels and stories by writers of African and Middle Eastern origin, the study elucidates the affective and expressive processes that inflect migrant story-telling. Drawing on the work of cultural theorists such as Sara Ahmed and Michel de Certeau, as well as on recent work in postcolonial literary studies, memory studies, human geography and feminist theory, the book probes the varied works of Shirin Ramzanali Fazel, Amara Lakhous, Mohsen Melliti, Younis Tawfik and many others. Each chapter posits alternative interpretations of the ways in which the interior experience of encounters across territories, cultures and languages is figured in this literature.
