Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm stereo blues record, Polydor 831 816-1, near-mint vinyl (in its original plastic inner sleeve) in a very-good-plus jacket showing minor ring wear near top & bottom of jacket front panel. Born in Texas, Freddie King relocated to the South Side of Chicago where he played the clubs but initially had trouble getting a record deal (being told he "sounded too much like B.B. King,") but finally broke out on Federal Records with "Have You Ever Loved a Woman," and his hit instrumental "Hide Away," both 1960. Suffering stomach ulcers and pancreatitis, Freddie King died in 1976 at the age of 42. Here he offers his hit "Have You Ever Loved a Woman," along with Paul Butterfield's "You Can Run But You Can't Hide," B.B. King's "Woke Up This Morning," Bob Dylan's "Meet Me in the Morning," five others. With David "Fathead" Newman on tenor sax. Reduced from $47.

All of the members of the band are wearing jeans and sunglasses, in different styles. Joe is wearing a white sleeveless tank with his arms crossed, wearing black boots. Rick Savage is wearing a black sleeveless tank with white sneakers, his hands resting near his hips. Rick Allen is wearing a short sleeve button down open to his belt with slip on shoes. Phil is wearing a jean jacket with his arms crossed, his head leaning to the right. Steve is wearing a white oxford and dark blazer both open to his chest, with his hand in his pocket. Since Canadian television shows two minutes' fewer commercials in each time block, meaning two minutes more programming were needed, CBC broadcasters asked for two minutes of specifically Canadian content when the SCTV comedy show moved to the Canadian network. Finding that ridiculous (since the entire show was filmed in Canada with a mostly Canadian cast), the duo donned toboggan caps, set out the beer bottles, and ad libbed two-minute segments featuring as many demeaning Canadian stereotypes as they could think of, eh? Audiences loved it. Now reduced from $14.

We have no idea how to "grade" the four CDs in their original cases -- all look fine to us. Includes nine Yardbirds cuts including "For Your Love" and "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl," half a dozen numbers with John Mayall, a dozen "Cream" entries including "I Feel Free," "Strange Brew," "Sunshine of Your Love," and "White Room," three Blind Faith cuts including "Presence of the Lord" and "Can't Find My Way Home," "Crossroads," "Layla" and nine others from Derek and the Dominos, and 31 more entries listed merely as "Eric Clapton," to include "After Midnight," "I Shot the Sheriff," "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," "Lay Down Sally," "Wonderful Tonight," "Cocaine," etc. Yep, 25 years of Eric Clapton. There is a disturbance where tape was removed to left edge of verso of box, though no type is affected.
