Hardcover / Hardback. Etat : As New. First edition. AudioBook 3-CD Box Set. Listen to the voices of the notorious Kray twins and their older brother on tape, and hear what they were really like. This four-hour talking book, in which the three brothers talk confidentially to author Robin McGibbon, was released to coincide with the Krays movie 'Legend' starring Tom Hardy. McGibbon is the only writer with recordings of all three brothers on tape : Ronnie in Broadmoor, Reggie on the phone from various prisons, and Charlie re-living his life for his book. In this 3-CD box set, Ronnie talks candidly about his sexuality - and reveals for the first time on tape the real reason he shot dead rival villain George Cornell in the Blind Beggar pub, in London's East End. Reggie describes his world behind bars, his philosophy of life, and his hatred for child killer Myra Hindley. Charlie describes the anguish he suffered being the brother of Britain's most vicious gangsters, and how the twins lack of respect for him destroyed his life. The author, a trusted friend and confidant of the Krays for over ten years, said: 'I was amazed to discover that the twins voices didn't match their fearsome image. But, more than anything, the tapes reveal just how different Charlie was to them, and how vastly different the twins were to each other. I'm convinced that the public will be as fascinated as I was.' 3-CD Boxed Set, unopened and still in original film wrap. As New. …
