It is believed it took her 6 years to save the 3s 6d for her bible and begin her journey to reach Thomas Charles of Bala, high over the mountains where it is believed that Thomas Charles was moved by her devotion ad gave her three bibles for the price of one.This book introduces the reader to the people and places behind the story along with confirming and dispelling various aspects that have been attributed to this much loved Welsh Tale.
