Some methods to meet a marriage partner have changed, but time-honored methods continue to be sound. An adolescent dream of world travel was achieved by attending surgical and medical conventions and by joining travel groups visiting cities and countries on six continents. "A triumph of the human spirit and an inspiration to anyone who is working up the courage to question cherished beliefs," while living under medieval conditions in a nunnery. She leaves the order — and is given the grand sum of $1,000 for the 22 years she served without pay. A gentle soul, she did not write a feminist tract; she just told her life story as a nun. She did not mention her last days in Magdalena, NM. She has passed and we remember her fondly.
