They are exceptionally clean. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. The spine ends have just a little bit of crinkling. There's a crease below the front top corner. The edges are in excellent shape. The corners as well, no rubbing on either. The bright, white, page edges are perfectly clean. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The white inside covers and endpapers, front and rear, are very clean, just one small amber spot on the front end paper. All of the pages in the book look terrific. They're exceptionally clean. I haven't found any soiling at all. I'm also not finding any conspicuous creasing, no turned-down corners or placeholder creases. There aren't any markings. No attachments. And the author's signature is the only writing to be found in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It's very clean. There are no tears. There's some crinkling at the spine ends, a few random scratches. There isn't any print on the flaps. They are very clean. There's a little crinkling at their outside corners.
