Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. In this eclectic collection of essays the author casts a look at the deeply worrying climate and ecological crisis, its environmental and socio-economic impacts, those who recognised it early, their warnings and the world's lackadaisical business as usual response. The essays raise many important questions and painstakingly look for answers, zig zagging between hope and doubt. While concluding that no solutions can realistically be offered to timely manage the extremely complex issues identified, the author finds consolation in the poetic belief that "many are the beings yet to come to life, not all the blades of grass have sprung.", and in the power of our common humanity to inspire us to tackle the issues of inequality at the root level. It is in that spirit that the book is dedicated to the children of the world - past, present and future. This item is printed on demand.
