The only career retrospective of this illustrator-caricaturist best known for his Mad magazine film/TV satires and his covers for Time and TV Guide. It is filled with prime examples of Drucker's pre-MAD comic book work, advertising illustrations, movie poster art, and comic strips. Many pieces are reproduced from the original art including Drucker's poster art for American Graffiti. Includes a Mort Drucker Mad Magazine checklist. This is one of a 1000 collectors copies, but it is missing the layed in sheet with Drucker's signiture and edition number, hence it is being offered at a greatly reduced value. Very good to excellent condition with the exception of the bottom of the pages (not showing inside) having a stain about 2 inches long and the boards having a very slight bow. Pages are clean and white and the colored plates bright with no fading. Dj is good has 2 tears one at top of front boards and one at bottom of spine. Both less than 1/2 inch.
