Leather is lightly scuffed and the marbled boards have a few surface scratches and light rubbing. Good condition only. Interior has prior owner name in ink of free endpaper, and the authors real name written next to pseudonym. Interior text is clean and tight - rear endpapers and last page has a light dampstain at bottom. Just good condition overall.

There is some minor staining to the upper outside corners but this does not affect the text or the usability of the book. The last 10 to 12 pages also has some minor chipping to the same upper outside corner area? Possibly from something chewing on it. Hinge is also cracked at rear board and half title page. This appears to be first US edition, published without advertisements in the front or rear. Condition is borderline poor.
