I guess that books that had been stockpiled from the first run were given new jackets. Alas, I find no trace of the Pirates 1971 supplement that the jacket refers to. However, the book is replete with photos and tales of the giants of Pittsburgh sports history--and what a history it has been! The first photo is of Honus Wagner, and it carries on from there. The book is clean and sound; the jacket shows some wear but is now protected by a Brodart.
