An explosive story, suppressed for years, about Western espionage against the Jews in Israel from the 1930s to the present. "Loftus and Aarons make a most convincing case in The Secret War Against the Jews that one-third of modern history is classified". --From Wikipedia: "John Joseph Loftus (February 12, 1950) is an American author, former US government prosecutor and former Army intelligence officer. He is a president of The Intelligence Summit and, although he is not Jewish, a president of the Florida Holocaust Museum. Loftus also serves on the Board of Advisers to Public Information Research. He currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. Son of a Boston firefighter, Loftus was born in Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Boston College (BA, 1971) and Suffolk University (JD, 1977). He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974, attaining the rank of First Lieutenant. He began working for the US Department of Justice in 1977 and in 1979 joined their Office of Special Investigations, which was charged with prosecuting and deporting Nazi war criminals in the US. Loftus' now-expired Web site claimed, "As a young U.S. Army officer, John Loftus helped train Israelis on a covert operation that turned the tide of battle in the 1973 Yom Kippur War." Loftus is the author and co-author of several controversial books on Nazis, espionage, and similar topics including The Belarus Secret (1982), Unholy Trinity: How the Vatican's Nazi Networks Betrayed Western Intelligence to the Soviets (1992), The Secret War Against the Jews: How Western Espionage Betrayed the Jewish People (1994), Unholy Trinity: The Vatican, the Nazis, and the Swiss Banks (1998), America's Nazi secret: An Insider's History of How the United States department of Justice obstructed congress by: blocking congressional investigations into famous American families who funded Hitler, Stalin and Arab terrorists (2010). Although Loftus' first book, The Belarus Secret, is nonfiction, it was adapted into a TV-film, Kojak: The Belarus File (1985), with Telly Savalas. Loftus previously had a radio show on Talkline Communications Network broadcast live every Monday and Tuesday from 11 pm to midnight EST in New York City, northern New Jersey, southern Connecticut, and Miami and Pompano Beach, Florida. His co-host was John Batchelor. Loftus serves as a media commentator, appearing regularly on ABC National Radio and Fox News. He also writes regularly for Ami, an Orthodox Jewish weekly newsmagazine. On August 7, 2005, he provided the United States address of an alleged terrorist named Iyad K. Hilal on Fox News. Only afterwards was it revealed that Hilal had left the address three years previously and the home was now owned by a family, which was then subjected to threats and vandalism and required police protection as a result of Loftus' words. Fox terminated Loftus's contract to commentate after the event. Loftus said "I thought it might help police in that area now that we have positively identified a terrorist, " but he did not say why he did not contact police in a more direct manner. Loftus apologized for the mistake and expressed frustration about "one federal [agency's]" inaction on an earlier tip he had given them years ago due to the same address." Very good in good dust jacket. Slight edge soiling. DJ has some wear and soiling. First edition. First Edition [stated]. First Printing [Stated].

Contains Part I: The Age of Bigotry, 1920-1947; Part II: The Age of Greed, 1948-1973; and Part III: The age of Stupidity, 1974-1992; Also contains The Age of Stupidity, 1974-1992. John Joseph Loftus (February 12, 1950), is an American author, former high level U.S. government prosecutor and former Army intelligence officer. He is the president of The Intelligence Summit and president of the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg. Loftus is an author of numerous books on an asserted CIA-Nazi connection including The Belarus Secret and The Secret War Against the Jews, both of which contain material claiming a Bush-Rockefeller-Nazi connection. He currently writes a weekly column called "spyview" for the Ami magazine. Mark Aarons (born 25 December 1951) is an Australian journalist and author. He was a political adviser to New South Wales Premier Bob Carr. Aarons was a member of the Communist Party of Australia from 1969 to 1978, and a Young Communist organizer in 1977. His 1986 ABC radio documentary series Nazis in Australia prompted the Bob Hawke government's inquiry into war criminals and formation of Special Investigations Unit. Aarons contends that right-wing authoritarian regimes and dictatorships backed by Western powers committed atrocities and mass killings that rival the Communist world, citing examples such as the Indonesian mass killings of 1965-66 and the killings associated with Operation Condor throughout South America. The authors demonstrate that numerous Western countries, especially the United States and Great Britain, have conducted repeated and willful spying missions on Palestine and later Israel over many decades. While on the surface these two countries and others profess to be ardent allies of Israel, they work, in fact, through their intelligence services to betray Israel's secrets to the Arabs. Their motive: oil and multinational profits, which must be attained at any price through international covert policies. To understand the duplicitous nature of the West's diplomatic relations with Israel, the authors contend that one must understand the history that begins after the end of World War I with the sordid Mideast exploits of a British diplomat, Jack Philby. They then proceed into a detailed discussion of the boardrooms of American and English bankers and lawyers who had strong connections with Nazi leaders and Arab oil tycoons in the 1930s prior to the outbreak of World War II. Particularly intriguing is the information that the writers present to suggest an all-too-cozy financial relationship that existed between the Allied intelligence community and German banks even during the war. One of the authors' chief contentions is that Israel was the unwitting victim of bungled Western spy operations such as Iran-Contra and BCCI, whose true dimensions have never previously been exposed. A consistent theme is that the White House and the British Secret Service have repeatedly run illegal programs, hidden from both the CIA and Congress, and then used the Jews as scapegoats. John Joseph Loftus (February 12, 1950) is an American author, former US government prosecutor and former Army intelligence officer. He is a president of The Intelligence Summit. Loftus serves as a media commentator, appearing regularly on ABC National Radio and Fox News. He also writes regularly for Ami, an Orthodox Jewish weekly newsmagazine. Derived from a Kirkus review: An alternative, conspiratorial retelling of major events of the last 75 years. Former Justice Department Nazi-hunter Loftus and Australian journalist Aarons are convincing in arguing that the underlying motivations for most of the evil plots they describe were fanatical anti- communism and/or greed. Thus wealthy Americans invested in prewar Nazi Germany because there was money to be made, and Nazis were welcomed to postwar America as fighters against communism. T; the State Department and American boardrooms were filled with Arabists who had no sympathy for a Jewish state because it was empty of oil. Little hard evidence is presented. Like all good conspiracy books, this one offers plausible and intriguing explanations for gray areas of history. The book is enlivened by a rogues' gallery, including double agents, Kim Philby; and Allen Dulles, accused of subverting American foreign policy to their greed. A conspiracy book offering tasty morsels. First Edition [stated]. First Printing [Stated].
