It was Sudek's wish tahat these photographs would form a comprehensive collection of his work outside Czechoslovakia. In 1976 during Miss Bullaty's last visit with Sudek in Prague, Sudek agreed that this collection in New York should form the basis for a book and exhibit.Questo è il primo libro mai pubblicato in Occidente sull'arte del grande fotografo ceco Josef Sudek.
