Due to its interest not only as a collection of poems, but also as a book of insights into the yogic path as a spiritual search, we have decided to republish it with a new title and cover, so as to make it available to those interested in this side of the book, as well as the poetic one. When written, the author, originally from New Zealand, was working as a yogic nun, and had taught and travelled in Asia, Europe, and South America in this capacity. She had chosen this path aged eighteen and had been living in this way for around fifteen years at the time. These poems, along with their literary value, serve as a record of her reflections and experiences during this period. They also serve, therefore, as a useful point of reflection for others practising yoga and meditation, or for those interested in the search for self-awareness and the processes and development of human consciousness and emotions in general.
