This home is famous for being pointed out by Dickens as a child. He was told by his father that, if he worked hard, he could own such a house. That's the story anyway. It is an interesting account of the house, and the smaller cottage Dickens built across the road. The two are connected by a tunnel he also constructed. A near fine copy in dust jacket.
