This book presents a comprehensive collection of the fragmentary remains of Cicero's Aratea, the Latin adaptation of Aratus' Hellenistic astronomical poem Phaenomena. It includes an astronomical fragment from Cicero's De Natura Deorum and a few short excerpts from other sources. The author included commentary on the works to provide context and aid comprehension. Cicero's free translation and adaptation of Aratus' influential work influenced Roman literature, paving the way for later poetic astronomy in Latin.
