Ajouter au panierTrade Paperback. Etat : Fine. 1st Edition. 1st printing of the first edition of the poet's second collection SIGNED on the title page with a green ballpoint pen, DATED Mar/08, the YEAR of PUBLICATION, and inscribed to writer Daniel David Moses, who contributed the blurb printed on the back cover of the book. The dedication reads, "Daniel I can't thank you enough -- for your knowledge, your gentleness, your role as a mentor to so many love Sharron." The late Moses was a Canadian aboriginal poet and playwright, and this book is among a collection of books by Canadian poets obtained by this bookseller which are dedicated to him with sincere gratitude and admiration. At the time of listing, this was the only copy of the book signed or unsigned offered for sale on the site. A trade paper original with card covers. A tight, well-preserved copy. Slight wear to the back corner of the crown of the spine, and the top corner of the back cover is ever-so-slightly turned. Ghost of pencil erasure at top edge of the dedication page. Proulx-Turner's first book of poetry - what the auntys say (2002) - was a finalist for the League of Canadian Poets' Gerald Lampert Prize for best first book of poetry. Signed by Author(s).
