In the proposed schemes, a hybrid fifteen-level inverter is achieved by connecting one end of the open-end winding induction motor (OEWIM) with FC-based hybrid five-level inverter and the other end is connected to a symmetrical 3-level inverter & hybrid twenty five-level inverter is achieved by connecting one end of the OEWIM with FC-based hybrid five-level inverter and the other end is connected to a symmetrical 5-level inverter. A level-shifted triangular carrier-based space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm is used on the RT-Lab real-time controller to generate gate pulses for the IGBTs of designed inverters. Balancing of the capacitor voltages is achieved by selecting the appropriate switching states from the available redundant switching states. 148 pp. Englisch.
