The workshop assembled some 50 invited experts from Europe, Ameri ca, and Japan representing the fields of Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Cellular Automata, Artificial Intelligence, and Compu ter Design; more than 20 additional scientists from various countries attended as observers.
