The photos show the condition better than I can describe, however overall I am grading the book as Good condition for its age. The book has a straight spine with firm corners and lightly softened spine ends. The boards are very discoloured as you can see, from damp and mould I'd guess. There is a patch of cloth missing from the spine also - see photo. The interior sees the seam joining the end papers to the boards is split front and back but the spine and boards are still affixed to the text block. The blank end papers front and back are toned but the text itself is clean and free from foxing or other marks, The page edges themselves are toned. The title page confirms the publication in 1906, which research confirms is the first edition. The book has 143 pages, including index. At the time of listing this is the only first edition copy online and it's a good solid copy, despite its outward appearance.
