Relief is depicted with hachures.A fascinating record of the area as it was in the mid 19th century, making an interesting comparison with the present day.The whole country was surveyed for the Boundaries Commission as an update to the 1832 reform bill survey - a major shake-up of the nation's parliamentary representation.The map is on a scale of one inch to a mile and is accompanied by a brief survey report on a separate sheet with interesting information on population and housing etc. Enhanced with original hand colouring with a colour key to identify the various boundaries.Fine clean condition, free of repairs or restoration.
