This Readers Union edition was produced in 1955, for sale to its members only. The book has been reset in 10 on 11pt Imprint type, printed and bound at The Aldine Press, Letchworth, Hertfordshire. It is an abridgement of three volumes entitled "An Artist's Life", "The Second Burst" and "The Finish", first published by the Museum Press Ltd, London. A charming book, perfect for historians of the social and artistic period of the late 19th and early 20th century.
