The map is unique in its details presentation of premium angling sites in the Feather River Valley and High Sierra. A Fishing Map! While essentially a road map, this maps greatest utility is as a fishing guide. This is an informative map highlighting the best angling sites. Hotels, resorts, and camp along principal rivers are also identified. The Feather River remains one of the Central Valley's best fishing destinations, especially for steelhead and salmon. Publication History and Census This map was created and published by the Automobile Club of Southern California in 1930.
