In Venezia, ed in Milano, Per Michel'Antonio Panza, 1741, in-4, piena pergamena coeva con fregi e titolo oro su tassello in pelle al dorso, tagli rossi, nastrino, pp. (16), 3-266. Marca calligrafica al frontespizio (con note manoscritte coeve in calce), fregi ed iniziali in xilografia. 3a edizione (anche se citata come 2a) d'un repertorio bibliografico rinomato all'epoca ed interessante ancor oggi per la scelta dei libri e i prezzi di mercato. Haym (1678-1729) che si cita come romano nell'avviso ai lettori, nacque e visse a Roma pur trasferendosi a Londra dal 1700; già attivo come compositore e violoncellista, fu però a Londra ove divenne il maggiore esperto di Opera italiana, che compose e pubblicò (1728) questa bibliografia: la passione per le antichità acquisita nella "città eterna" lo avevano reso infatti anche collezionista e bibliofilo. Ottime condizioni, salvo fioriture.

Haym arranged his catalogue by subject for easy use and quick reference and includes descriptions of over 3500 titles.
