Ajouter au panierSoft Cover. Etat : Good+ binding. Octavo. x, 246 pp. First edition, signed and inscribed by Rexroth. As issued, in wrapper. Covers are generally scuffed; first few leaves have creases at the bottom corners and are trimmed just short of the textblock edge, difficult to assess if this was a binding error or an early owner; what looks to be an intake stamp on the title page otherwise contents are clean. A nice copy of an uncommon collection. This copy copy inscribed to D. H. Lawrence scholar, Keith Cushman. Hartzell 320.

Ajouter au panierHardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. 1st Edition. New Directions, New York. 1958. 246 pages including index. First edition, first printing. Book is tight. Binding and hinges are sound. Blue cloth panels are bright and clean. Pages and endpapers are bright. Minor, light shelf-rubbing at tips. Uncommon original DJ with $3.75 price intact on flap. DJ shows minor, light handling and rubbing. A couple of tiny, shallow edge chips. The book's lone flaw is light annotation in the margins, and some passages underlined in ink. A nice copy with annotation. Overall, an uncommon hardcover in DJ, of the man TIME magazine coined as Father of the Beats.
