Original stiff wrappers, cover illustrated in colour under mylar jacket. In fine condition. ~ Original doctoral dissertation presentated to the Leiden University. Includes the 12-point Thesis Statement. Doctoral advisor was renowned Egyptologist Prof. J. Borghouts. two years later it was published for the first in a book form (Leiden, Nederlands Instituut voor het Nabije Oosten, 2006) and was directly accepted as an authoritative analysis of the magical contents of the funerary papyrus of Gatseshen, daughter of the High Priest of Amon Menkheperra. The original dissertation, beautifully produced, its quality surpasses greatly that of the reprint, remains extremely rare. This particular copy comes from the library of Prof. Dr. Heerma van Voss (1923-2015) and it includes, loosely inserted, some correspondence between him and Lucarelli who at that time was still revising her manuscript. 002-5.
