Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition hardcover in red paper covered boards with white spine title. Lightly bumped spine ends, tips still sharp. Tidy former owner's name in space provided on a Wesley Dennis illustrated horse head bookplate on frt pastedown. 40 pp of text with 20… pp of b/w captioned photographs in the center of the volume. There is light ink underlining on 7 text pages. Unclipped, white background, lightly surface soiled dust wrapper has two one-inch tears at the foot of the rear panel and a couple of micro rubs on the flap fold corners. Displays well in new mylar with shadow-like photo of Caprilli riding that takes up the entire cover. The price is a hand written sticker at the lower fore-edge of the front flap.

Very Good+, two pages in the photo insert are stuck together near the gutter, not affecting pictures;dust jacket is Very Good+, slight bump to top of spine mainly affecting the dust jacket. .
