The initials of Oswald de Andrade [O. de A.] are printed on 15 of the sheets. A dedication on the rear cover celebrates poet friends and 25 years of concrete poetry. The top corners of the plates are bumped. Very good in a good portfolio. First edition, limited to 1,000 unnumbered copies. An example of the concrete poetry publications that were an outgrowth of the Noigandres movement. In 1952, Brazilian poets Decio Pignatari, Augusto de Campos, and Haroldo de Campos formed a group called "Noigandres." They published a magazine by the same name, in which they explored a new genre of poetry which they would later define as "concrete poetry." The text is in Portugese.
