Each programme is wonderfully preserved, displaying the extravagant stage and costume designs by famous artists such as Bakst and Picasso as well as the legendary dancers. This stunning collection was luxuriously bound by Xavier de Planhol, a professor of geography at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and a widely acknowledged authority on Iranian civilisation.
