Published by Spellmount in 1988 and Marine Mangement Holdings in 1994, here are both volumes of Commander P.M.Rippon's The Evolution of Engineering in the Royal Navy 1827-1992. Volume 1 1827-1939. Plum cloth binding, gilt spine lettering, 304 illustrated…pages, the book is in very good condition with some light spotting/ finger marking to the extreme outsides of the page edges. The dust jacket is also very good with some general creasing to the edges. Volume 2:`1939-1992. Green cloth binding, gilt spine lettering, 410 illustrated pages, the book is in very good condition with some light dusty spotting to the extreme outsides of the page edges plus some rubbing to the bottom left hand corner of a few pages at the front of the book. The dust jacket is very good with some light creasing to the edges. The 2 books together are heavy (tipping the scales close to 2.85 kgs wrapped) and therefore additional postage MUST be applied to areas OUTSIDE the UK as follows: Europe £15, Rest of the World (excluding Canada, which does not a Royal Mail rate for this weight) £20. UK postage is unchanged and exactly as quoted.
