Printed specially for 'Ben Philips' with unique 'printed for.' page and sticker with previous owner's name on inside of front boards. Published as memorial edition for Hubbard's death. Volumes have embossed leather covers with red, green, yellow coloring. Embossed spines have either lost their color over the years or were uncolored when issued. Edges and corners have some bumping and wear from shelfwear and use; wear to edges has only exposed a small portion of the underlying board on a few volumes; a majority of volumes have minimal wear to edges. . Top page edges are trimmed and gilt (with expected dirt/soiling from shelfwear and age). The other two sides are untrimmed. Tipped in frontispieces and illustrations. Bound in ribbon markers. No markings to text. Hinges of volumes are strong, but leather shows some wear on outside along where hinges bend. Pages and bindngs remain clean, straight, and tight. Volumes are variably worn, as expected from a set, however described wear is consistent across all volumes. No individual volume is severly damaged. Overall volumes are in Good+ to Very Good condition.
