Dos carré muet, légèrement insolé. Plats avec bords légèrement insolés, et rares rousseurs éparses. Intérieur assez frais, malgré quelques rares plissures aux bord extérieur de quelques pages. Conférence qui devait être prononcée le 30 novembre 1949 à la salle de la Société d'Horticulture mais qui fut, si l'on en croit l'auteur, par la Préfecture de Police. Faute de l'avoir proféré, Pomerand publia donc ce brûlot " Aux Dépens du Public". Un des 1000 exemplaires numérotés sur vélin ( n° 301 ), seul tirage après 40 beaux vélins teintés. Bel état général. Rarissime édition originale.
