This book is a set of very human stories of Allied soldiers who were held at the famous Colditz prison camp along with, in many cases, drawings of the individuals themselves. Spine, binding and covers all fine though covers are very faded. Contents are clean throughout, with previous owner name on inside cover, and there is tanning on the endpapers. 183 pages.

Extremities are quite rubbed, starting through in some places. Corners are bumped and rubbed through. Bottom corner of rear board has been torn off. Few small tears along spine. Binding is solid, though it is loosening. Laid-in at first plate is a paper with a couple of amendments to the book. Interior is age-toned with the occasional spot of soiling, text and images remain clean and clear.

Numerous colour plates. 64 Illustratve plates in total. Green coverboards with some splotches and streaks. BInding is loose but secure with one-inch of webbing exposed at front hinge.
