The original price of $5.95 is still present on the front flap along with the printing code 4/the three. DJ has good color but there are numerous small tears chips along the edges, mainly the top. There is also a larger chip missing at the top left corner of the spine. Green cloth boards underneath or clean with only the slightest of fading along the top edge. Internal binding is good text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, no underlining, no remainder marks. Pages are clean except for page 17 which has a small brown spot on the right edge, center. The spot only measures about 1/4 inch in height as well outside of the text area. There is some light toning and foxing present on the end pages and pastedowns. This is due to the jacket paper reacting with the book over decades. Front end page also has a small splash stain on the extreme right side edge. This can also be seen on the exterior page edge and the jacket front flap. Copyright page states first American edition.…
