Pages clean, with a few pencil markings in text; notes in pencil and ink to the back endpapers, and a 1918 ownership name in pencil to the front free endpaper. A much-handled copy, but it seems firm. Small volume, 17x11cms, in its original binding of grained navy cloth titled in gilt. The cloth has bubbled and is quite loose on the boards but is firmly attached at the edges.
