Totem Press was founded by Beat poet Leroi Jones in 1958 and published 13 pamphlets, including these poems by Allen Ginsberg which were co-published with Corinth Press, a small press in New York that published a number of beat and Afro-American poets. The covers are the original publisher's white, stapled, printed wrappers with black cover lettering and a black illustration by Jesse Sorintino. The edition/printing is not stated, however the booklist on the rear wrapper begins with Edward Dorn's "Hands Up" which was first published in 1964. The covers are sun-darkened at the spine with spotting, a rubbed portion on the rear wrapper, and a stain to the edge of the rear wrapper at the spine. The contents are in nice condition with no marks, tears, chips, or previous owner names. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 47 pages.
