Spine with printed label. = A rare part of the Ultimate Encyclopaedia and the largest of all great Encyclopaedias and the most important work published during the French Enlightement. This is the complete text and atlas. The atlas was published first. Both parts are rare. The binding, in historical style, is sound, with the label resembling those of the publisher's. Text a bit toned; the plates very good clean(ed). Schmitt, S. (2018) Inventaire des livraisons, des auteurs et du contenu de l'Encyclopédie méthodique (1782-1832).
