Book condition: Book giver's note, in ink, is on the pre-title page, and a paper clip impression can be felt and seen at the top of this page; top edge of the book is dyed pink, and at the open end of the top edge is a circa 1/2 sq. inch damp (faded) spot; a damp stain can be seen at the top corners of each page from p.27 to p.187, appearing as faint pink areas; at maximum extent circa 1 inch x 1/8th inch, decreasing gradually to nothing each way.
