Includes index, small ink initial "M/8" to front end paper and lower blank margin of the title page. Name (?) inked out to blank margin of the title page showing through to verso and upper blank margin decreasing to first 8pp touching running title "preface". Very small single worm trail to inner lower blank margin of last 4pp and end papers, the content's tight. Bound in a contemporary full brown calf, sign of old handwritten paper label to the spine, some surface rubbing to spine edges rubbing and chipping to the base of the spine, the binding tight with no splits.

Title, [6], 16, 23, 232, 231-437, 431-437, [21]pp. Lacking 4 pages according to the British Library ESTC website citation number N18699. Nevertheless a scarce work. With engraved world map to title after Pieter van den Keere dating from 1646. Numerous errors in pagination, the work however being complete. A few neat contemporary annotations to the text. Upper inner-margin stain affecting the first six leaves. Contemporary full calf, proabably the original publisher's binding, the upper half of the spine skillfully replaced to style, corners slighty worn.
